Our Ladies League Executive is comprised of dedicated volunteers who generously give their time amidst busy schedules that include work, parenting, and other commitments. Their efforts provide the women of Williams Lake with the opportunity to enjoy and participate in the sport of soccer. We kindly ask that everyone keeps in mind that our Executive members are doing their best to continually improve and grow our league.

Meet The Executive Team

Taylor Wessels - President/Registrar
Growing up in Williams Lake, soccer has always been such a big part of my life. It’s been the place where I’ve made long lasting friendships and made memories to hold on to. Being part of the ladies league executive gave me the chance to give back to a community that has given me so much. Staying involved in the soccer community isn’t just about the game for me—it’s about the friendships, the support, and being part of something that feels like home.

Pyper Alexander- Vice President
I’ve lived in Williams Lake and played soccer for most of my life. I joined the outdoor ladies league in 2023 and the indoor league in 2024 and have made so many new friends during this time. To me, the league has always been very welcoming, fun, and friendly. I enjoy playing all types of sports in the community and I’m grateful to join the executive as Vice President and continue to play and meet everyone!

Ashleigh Lyons- Chief of Referees
Hi, my name is Ashleigh Lyons. Soccer has been apart of my life for many years. I love the passion and community it brings to Williams Lake. I have spent most of my life playing soccer and I plan on continuing to do so until I no longer can. Giving back to the community by being apart of the executive and helping run the ladies league has been amazing thus far. I hope our league keeps growing and we build our soccer community in this town!

Cora Webster- Secretary
I first started playing the WL ladies soccer league during my summer breaks from University. I was brand new to WL and through soccer I made a ton of wonderful, fun, and down to earth friends. I found the league members very welcoming and sportsmanlike. I have played in this league for 7 years now and I haven’t missed a season! Soccer in WL for me was an easy way to meet new people and allows me to sustain a healthy lifestyle with an added fun social aspect. I really encourage those who are curious to come out and give it a try!

Becky Richardson- Media Manager
Hi, I’m Becky Richardson, and I’m excited to take on the role of Media Manager. Soccer has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I’ve been actively involved in the Williams Lake Women's soccer league for over 12 years as a player. The sport has always been a big part of my life, and I feel lucky to be part of such a strong, connected community.
What I love most about the women’s league is how inclusive and supportive it is—it truly welcomes players of all skill levels and brings people together. Whether I’m out on the field or working behind the scenes, I’m dedicated to promoting the game, encouraging new players to join, and helping build even stronger connections within our soccer community.

Andrea Dan- Recreational Representitive
My name is Andrea Dan and I’m the new Recreational Rep for the WL Women's soccer league. I’ve played ladies indoor for many years and played outdoor on and off throughout the years. I have a love and passion for soccer and I look forward to being a part of a great community organization. I strive to help the growth of the ladies league in a fun and positive way.

Bailey Hopkins- Gym/Field Manager
Hi, I'm Bailey Hopkins. I have been playing soccer in Williams Lake for 15 years! I have a very big passion for soccer and absolutely love the women's soccer league. I have been playing for 5+ years and love seeing how the league has grown. This will be my second year on the board and I'm grateful to be apart of the association.

Paige Call- Treasurer
Growing up in Williams Lake, soccer has been a constant in my life. I played in the youth program, have been part of the Ladies League for nearly six years, and currently assistant coach the U16/U17 Rep Girls. This community is where I’ve built lasting friendships and welcomed many new ones. I’m excited to remain on the board as Treasurer and support the inclusive growth of both our indoor and outdoor seasons.
