I have played in the Williams Lake ladies league since I was 16 years old. Ever since then I have been a dedicated player for indoor and outdoor soccer no matter where I have ended up with university. Playing in four different communities in BC has allowed my growth as a player to flourish in so many ways. I do it for the exercise and the love of the game. I will continue to play in the league for as long as my body will let me, I have gotten to know the new and old faces of the soccer community here in Williams Lake and I adore all the ladies that come out and play, I love this league so much and I am willing to do as much as I can to keep the league up and running as I am now going into my 3rd year as president of WLLSA. I invite all of you who love the sport to come and play with us and make your own amazing memories like I have over the many years of playing.

I moved to WL in 2010 and was eager to join the Ladies Outdoor League. The players are welcoming and provide a competitive level of play. I was easily persuaded to join the indoor league where the laughs and sweat continue. Part of the charm in a small community is how quickly I’ve come to know most players in the league, and an added bonus is the reasonable registration fees in comparison to leagues in other towns. I hope that I can be active in our soccer club for many years.

I have played in the ladies league since I was 16 years old. I continued to stay active in soccer during my years at university and returned to the Williams lake league as soon as I moved back. I’ve always loved playing in both the indoor and outdoor leagues. It’s such a great way to stay active and have fun with a great community of women. Looking forward to another great season, and hoping to see some new faces!

I have played soccer since I was 5 years old and have truly fell in love with the sport. Being part of a Rep team throughout high school opened so many doors for me. I joined the European Football School based out of Vancouver BC, and travelled the world as a team playing in many different countries. Joining the Ladies League has been so much fun and has given me the opportunity to meet so many new people, while playing the sport I love!

I first started playing the WL ladies soccer league during my summer breaks from University. I was brand new to WL and through soccer I made a ton of wonderful, fun, and down to earth friends. I found the league members very welcoming and sportsmanlike. I have played in this league for 7 years now and I haven’t missed a season! Soccer in WL for me was an easy way to meet new people and allows me to sustain a healthy lifestyle with an added fun social aspect. I really encourage those who are curious to come out and give it a try!

Hi, I’m Becky Richardson, and I’m excited to take on the role of Media Manager. Soccer has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I’ve been actively involved in the Williams Lake Women's soccer league for over 12 years as a player. The sport has always been a big part of my life, and I feel lucky to be part of such a strong, connected community.

What I love most about the women’s league is how inclusive and supportive it is—it truly welcomes players of all skill levels and brings people together. Whether I’m out on the field or working behind the scenes, I’m dedicated to promoting the game, encouraging new players to join, and helping build even stronger connections within our soccer community.

My name is Andrea Dan and I’m the new Recreational Rep for the WL Women's soccer league. I’ve played ladies indoor for many years and played outdoor on and off throughout the years. I have a love and passion for soccer and I look forward to being a part of a great community organization. I strive to help the growth of the ladies league in a fun and positive way.

Hi, I'm Bailey Hopkins. I have been playing soccer in Williams Lake for 15 years! I have a very big passion for soccer and absolutely love the women's soccer league. I have been playing for 5+ years and love seeing how the league has grown. This will be my second year on the board and I'm grateful to be apart of the association.

Growing up in Williams Lake I’ve been passionate about soccer since I was a kid, and had the pleasure of participating in the youth program here. While away at university, I always made it a priority to play in the ladies league when I’d return home for the summer. Now that I’m back in the community full-time, I’m excited to take on a greater role as Treasurer of the league. I’m committed to helping grow the Ladies League and ensuring it remains a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone who wants to play.
